How can I present you more than 100 projects that I did in the Arts School of La Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland)? Of course, it’s impossible to summarize the unique experience of Interactive Media Designer formation that I did from 2015 to 2019 in this Arts School.
However, I have modestly tried to synthesize this 4-years work by presenting you 9 projects. This project selection aims to demonstrate the variety of media, styles and techniques learned in the different courses taught at the Arts School such as graphic design, typography, video, scenario, web design, UX/UI design, marketing, coding, photography, colors, history of arts, etc.
Experimental book: Richard Stallman
Richard Stallman is the founder of open source software and he is a defender of informatics liberty such as free transfer files, respect of the personal space on the internet, hacking, etc. The mandate was to dedicate a biography book to him. This project was lead during the “typography” class and one of the constraints was to edit this book with only two colors. The purpose was to blend images and text in order to create a paper support which is graphic and experimental.

Explanatory video: La Suisse didactique
«La Suisse didactique» (The didactic Switzerland) is a fictitious web magazine that is active and critical. The target audience is young and inquisitive. The main content of the magazine is on the social networks like Youtube, Twitter and Facebook. Each week, a video deals with a topic which is defined by the magazine, in order to explain some important issues about the world we live in. The mandate was to achieve the pilot of this series of didactic videos and establish a graphic identity that is declinable over several episodes. The topic was: «Why do Swiss households go into debt?».
Conclusion of the video: a poster that synthesizes all elements treated in the subject.

Leaflet: Outkast Festival
The mandate was to create a leaflet for a music festival in France; Outkast Festival. The pamphlet contains useful information, the festival’s program and a description of the bands. Documentary: Les reflets perdus
The mandate was to create a paranormal documentary. To this end, it was necessary to choose a topic, put in place a script, cast actors, film, and the most important; produce special effects and create an atmosphere. This project had been set up by groups of two as part of the “video” class. The documentary tells the story of an extremely rare disease; the people suffering from it don’t see their reflection in the mirror.

Interactive interface: EAA Kiosk
The Art School of La Chaux-de-Fonds wishes to install interactive kiosks in the corridor of its institution. The kiosk is useful the students and teachers; it allows the login to his personal profile and to get all his school information. The interface of the kiosk is a extention of the Art School’s graphic identity

Mobile application: Meteo App
The mandate was to create a weather application for smartphones and to give it a feature. The application presents the weather with the aid of pictograms. The display enables the user to arrange his free time according to the weather in order to get the best planning to practice outdoor sports

Charity video: I believe in you – SNEB
The SNEB is the Bienne rowing club I’ve been in since I was young. The club needed to raise money to buy a new competition boat, and to do that, a video was posted on a participative site: I believe in you. The video is intended to the future donors of the region; that’s why it’s in French and Swiss-German. The sum of 12,030 CHF was collected for the new boat.
We reached the goal and the rowing club purchased a new competition boat.
Visual Indentity : Playtime
« Playtime » is a games festival which targets all age groups and takes place in Neuchâtel during the month of June. The festival offers 4 kinds of different games; board games, educational games, outdoor games and role-plays. The logo is the main axis of the festival’s visual communication: the pictogram “sandglass” that is yellow (symbolizing time) is declined to create a signage and a graphical line to the event.

Arts School conclusion
I finished the Arts School of La Chaux-de-Fonds in 2019 after 4 years of intensive study with the best Diploma note (6/6) on all artistic formations combined, the Artistic Matura and the Second Price of Interactive Media Designer formation. After the Arts School, I started a preparatory year to enter the public University of Geneva in order to learn management and business economy.
